People have fully embraced the flat screen televisions and it is very difficult to even find an old style TV in the stores anymore. It has been proven that the LCD and plasma technology is reliable and these flat screens have taken over and replaced the old tube technology. Everyone wants a flat screen now and they have shown that they are willing to pay for one.
When you set out to buy a flat screen TV now, you have more brands and sizes to choose from than ever before. Everyone wants a flat screen and so all the manufacturers have switched to this technology. A handful of years ago everything was coming out in plasma but now the LCD technology has taken over. When you go into an electronics store this year, you will see that the plasmas are hard to find and most flat screens are now LCD.
For anyone thinking about getting a new flat screen TV, it is a great time to buy one as the competition is high and prices continue to fall. It doesn’t matter whether you decide to get plasma or LCD because both technologies are reliable and your TV sets should last for at least 10 years or more. However, the word “cheap” should never be used to describe one of these flat screens.
