The Pompano Beach in South Florida once again will be host to an unforgettable event on April as they celebrate the annual Pompano Beach Seafood Festival in South Florida. Be prepared for mouthwatering delectable goodness of seafood recipes. Expect chefs and culinary experts to transform the beach into one seafood lovers’ paradise. Almost any kind of seafood in any type of recipe will be cooked on this event.

During the festival, you can see seafood goodness at almost any station. Do you love lobsters? Then you can definitely enjoy the lobsters on lemon butter sauce specialties. Let the chefs fill you in your squid addiction by giving you supreme squid pasta. Marvel at new and innovative seafood goodness by young chefs and discover the tasty Catfish desert in cold cream syrup. Forget about weight counters and diet plans for a day and enjoy!

Kitchen experts will likewise be at the Festival to teach the attendees some basic tricks on how to prepare and cook lobsters the right way. After freezing the lobster for 10 minutes or so with the rubber bands still attached to the claws (for obvious safety purposes), gently place it at a huge pot of boiling water. Don’t forget to put salt at the pot to taste and close the lid tightly. Remove the lobster when it achieved a red color and allow cooling before handling.

Gently remove the tail from the head and using a pair of kitchen shears, cut across the underside of the lobster to remove it from its shell. Use a nutcracker or a crab shell cracker to remove the claw shell and expose the beautiful and tasty claw meat. Serve on a clean plate. Make a lemon butter sauce and serve it.

If you’re an aspiring seafood culinary expert I suggest you to drop by at the Seafood Festival. It is definitely worth attending.
